Perseverance – A Christian Virtue
In life, we often have to persevere, sometimes through trials and difficult times. Yet perseverance is highly regarded as a Christian virtue. Why?
Jesus never changes – let’s celebrate that truth!
The world has gone insane. It celebrates darkness and denies even fundamental truths. We wonder, “How crazy will it get?”
Yet the Kingdom is here at least in part and has been growing like a mustard seed since the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Silent Night – Only it wasn’t – the heaven’s rejoiced

Christ uses ordinary people and ordinary days
The all powerful God of creation could have accomplished His goals in any way He wished. Yet He chose to give us the blessing of participating with Him. He’s given you and me, ordinary people, the task of sharing His love with the world.
The things we value most will be left behind – We gain everything
Now I understand the need for a vehicle, and I know that they usually reach a point where they are no longer worth repairing. Seeing so many of their rusted old bodies, though, made me think about the Lord’s coming.
Never out of control – the power of God’s consuming fire
Our God is like a fire, but never out of control.
Our eternal inheritance in Jesus – an unbreakable promise
The fullness of His mercy, grace, and power, and the extent of our transformation will be revealed in glory with Him. That’s something to look forward to. It’s an unbreakable promise of our eternal inheritance.
