I want to meet the one who loved me enough to die for me.

I can’t think of a single person who hasn’t needed a fresh start or a new beginning at various points in life. Jesus is that start. Like the new day, he brings us fresh promise.

Flee from the dangerous shoals of sin and rebellion. Come into the light.

What mercy He has to endure that in my stead. What mercy to endure the penalty for everyone. We sometimes take it for granted, but when I really think about it, it staggers my mind. I cannot truly grasp the magnitude of his baptism of suffering and death.

Believers are called to be baptized.

He remained faithful to the journey. 

Lord, I don’t want to! Kevin, I didn’t ask if you wanted to. I commanded you to do so. You show your love for me by following my commands and loving.

Stand firm when people reject you because of your faith or you face persecution. The victory is ours through the one who died and rose again, defeating sin, death, and the grave.

As you go about your spring days and marvel at the changes the season brings, take the time to remember Him. He gave it all that we might be free.

Let’s strive to make the gathering of our local assemblies more enriching than aquafit.

We know that we can hope in Him, provided that our desire is in accordance with His will and character. 

When we should be the voice of grace, love, forgiveness, and hope, we can come across as just another panicked, hate-filled group. My friends, that should not be so.
