My friends, we should not be known as haters. Even in extreme disagreement, we should seek peaceful understanding rather than sounding like a rabid mob.

After writing about chuckling ducks yesterday and thinking of the call of a towhee today, I wanted to know if you could identify Christians by their sounds.

It makes me think of how Christians ought to sound. Only believers have any true hope in this life or reasons for true, lasting joy. No matter what is happening around us, we always have a reason for joy.

Then his bus arrived. He rose, smiled, and said, “Thanks for talking to me. Most people don’t.”

The resemblances between us got me thinking about the fact that we’re created in the image of God.

Scripture has something to say to those of us who are rich.

We can also find ourselves slip sliding away in our faith walk if we’re not careful.

When King David was on the run in the wilderness, he gathered a cohort of misfit strays and warriors to be his guards and soldiers.  The Bible refers to them as the mighty men of David.
