Hide and Seek – No Hiding From God

Snowshoes are masters of camouflage, with brown/grey colouring most of the year and white in the winter. When they sit still, they can be challenging to spot. This one wanted to up its game and hide in the feeder/fountain.

A Broken Wing

The church is so much more than a “hospital.” It is a critical care ward for the newly resurrected and reborn. It is a rehabilitation facility for those struggling with all the world’s temptations. The church is a school to teach newborns how to live lives in Christ. It is a citizenship class preparing us for our new citizenship in the Kingdom of God

Transformed from the inside out

One of the loveliest looking trees in the neighbourhood, it made a real focal point for the small flower garden at its base. The shade from it fell nicely across our driveway. The robins loved to nest in it.

We will see the Lord in His unfettered glory. I cannot imagine how beautiful He will be. We will see one another glorified through eyes and minds no longer tainted by sin—what a marvellous vision.

Parallel Tracks – Divine Sovereignty amd Individual Responsibility

A pair of themes in the Scriptures run parallel to one another. Efforts to reconcile those parallel themes inevitably damage or distort one or the other. I am speaking of divine sovereignty and individual responsibility. Both are taught clearly in the Bible and sometimes seem to be a paradox

modified it into a very functional sleigh that the dogs could pull, and I could stand on and ride. It was quite an ingenious design and had the advantage of being collapsable for storage and transport.

Community

Whether you call them flocks, gaggles or skeins, one thing you seldom see is a solo goose. Geese were designed to be in community, sometimes vast communities, but communities nonetheless.
n that, geese and Christians have a lot in common. Christians are not designed to live solo lives.
