Today, we start looking at the so-called “Seven Sayings on the Cross,” or as it is sometimes named, the “Seven Words of Jesus on the Cross.”

Sometimes, when I think of what Jesus willingly endured for me despite my sin and rebellion, I weep. What incredible love He has for us.

He might be hoidden from our view but God never leaves us.

Old Ned said to Ed, “If there is a God, why isn’t He doing more about the poverty, suffering, and injustice in the world? Surely He could easily do more than He seems to be doing now.”

Watching them helped me see the metaphor of Christ being the shepherd more clearly.

It means we must tear down the walls between reformed, evangelical, charismatic, and other churches of various denominations (and non-denominational groups). Most of our differences are on non-essential things.

There is only one way. Like spaghetti the heart must be softened.
